All stoneware pieces are made by hand in the studio in Sorsogon, Philippines. It is the nature of human hand made objects to be imperfect and unique, and these are characteristics I celebrate in these pieces. ~ Each object not quite the same as another, made slowly and intimately by human hand and fire.

Mikee Naval is a ceramic artist based in Sorsogon, Philippines. 

Academically trained in Architecture, she creates from a deep understanding of form as narrative — drawing from organic shapes, natural phenomena, gestures of landscapes and human intervention. Her reverence for craft traditions and the work of human hands has inspired her ongoing explorations of local and natural materials alongside clay.
